Tetris 99, the popular battle royale game on Nintendo Switch Online, is gearing up for a special event later this month. From August 16th to 19th, players will have the opportunity to participate in the Splatoon 3 Edition Maximus Cup. By earning enough points during the event, players can unlock a special theme inspired by Splatoon 3 and its Expansion Pass DLC.
To take part in the event, players will need an active Switch Online membership. The event will award event points based on the player’s rank in each battle they compete in. Players will need to collect at least 100 event points to unlock the new in-game theme.
In addition to the Tetris 99 event, Splatoon 3 will also be hosting its ‘Grand Festival’ in September 2024. This event promises to bring even more excitement to fans of the popular ink-slinging franchise.
