Nintendo just dropped a new update for the Switch 2 and Switch, bringing the firmware up to Version 20.5.0. We heard there might be some compatibility fixes with this update, and it turns out there are actually multiple fixes to talk about.

After getting this latest version installed, any issues you were having with certain Switch games on the Switch 2 should be all sorted out now. One of the big ones is Warframe, and the folks over at Digital Extremes even showed off some gameplay of a dedicated Switch 2 release set to come in the future. Exciting stuff for sure!

So, which games are now good to go on the new hybrid system from Nintendo? Well, according to Nintendo Everything, we’ve got Deemo Reborn, Library of Ruina, Powerful Pro Baseball 2024-25, Ultra Age, and of course, Warframe. It’s great to see these games running smoothly now.

But wait, there’s more! Nintendo also found some issues with other titles like Jelly Troops (unsupported and game progression problems), Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning (graphics glitches), Mugen Souls (item display hiccups), Subway Simulator 2025 – City Train (animation troubles), and Transistor (gameplay issues when docking or undocking the system).
