So, like, I was totally thinking about this new Pokémon game, Legends: Z-A, and I got this crazy idea to, like, choose my favorite Pokémon for each letter of the alphabet, but, get this, in reverse alphabetical order. I mean, who even does that, right? But hey, it sounded fun at the time, until I realized it was gonna be, like, super hard to pick just one for each letter. It was like torture, man. I felt for those poor Pokémon dealing with paralysis, you know?
Anyways, after much deliberation, I finally picked my top 26 winners. Let’s dive in, shall we?
So, like, first up we got Zorua, this cool fox Pokémon that’s all elusive and stuff. It’s been a real pain to catch in games, but that just makes it feel extra special, you know? Plus, imagine the mischief you could get up to with a Zorua as a pet. Sounds like a blast.
Next, we got this creepy one called Yamask. It’s literally a human soul carrying around a mask of its old face. Like, what even? Gives me the heebie-jeebies just thinking about it. Moving on to Xerneas, this majestic creature that I never got to catch ’cause I didn’t finish a certain game. But hey, it’s been compared to Studio Ghibli, so it must be pretty cool, right?
And don’t even get me started on Wiglett. It’s like a weird version of Diglett, but in a totally ridiculous way. I mean, who comes up with this stuff? But hey, that’s why I love it. Then there’s Vikavolt, this bug-type Pokémon that took forever to evolve but was totally worth it in the end. It was a powerhouse on my team, which was a first for a bug-type for me.
Umbreon, the dark and mysterious Eeveelution, holds a special place in my heart from back in the day. It’s got that cool, collected vibe with a hint of danger, and it’s just so darn cute. I might even pick it as a pet over Zorua. Typhlosion, the fiery badger, is another fave of mine with its chill demeanor and fiery powers. It’s the perfect partner for a Johto adventure.
Squirtle, the OG turtle Pokémon, was my number one from the get-go. I mean, I used to carry around a huge Squirtle pillow everywhere I went. Good times, man. And let’s not forget about Rattata, the little guy that grew on me over the years. It’s not the most popular ‘R’ pick, but it’s got a special place in my heart.
Quagsire, the lovable goofball, rounds out the list with its carefree attitude. I mean, who wouldn’t want to be as chill as Quagsire? Oh, and Pikachu, of course. It’s like the face of Pokémon with its endless charm and iconic status. Business Pikachu forever, am I right?
Ogerpon, with its heart-wrenching story in the DLC, tugs at the heartstrings. Plus, the mask-swapping thing is pretty cool. And Ninetales, the majestic kitsune, brings a touch of folklore to the list. Its Alolan variant is just the cherry on top.
Halfway through, and I gotta say, picking favorites is tough work. But hey, we’ll see who makes the cut next. Stay tuned.
